"Something Lost, Nothing Found"

Granny is getting forgetful and she has lost something. What do you think that she has lost?  Give evidence from the text to support your answer.

    The thing that I think she is looking for is the box with the secrets of Ember,because she said she was looking for something that was lost a long time ago

    I think granny is looking for the box because she is taking out wads of stuffing from the couch.

      I don't agree with you Cole because in the story it said that the mayor made a dent in the box and put it in his closet

      Does the mayor have it? On page 2, the seventh mayor died before he could return it to its official hiding place, or tell the next mayor about it.
